Employees of the governmental hospitals in Lebanon staged Tuesday a sit-in outside the Health Ministry headquarters in Bir Hassan, with the participation of the president of the General Confederation of Lebanese Workers Beshara al-Asmar.
“We are one team of workers with the Health Ministry in order to resolve the issue,” calling on all parties to find a solution for the employees of these facilities, especially that the governmental hospitals are for the poor.
The hospitals’ representatives from all the regions delivered speeches during the movement, urging for closing the hospitals on Thursday and Friday.
