Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati, received this morning the envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Advisor at the Royal Court Nizar Al-Aloula, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Yaqoub and the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Royal Court, Walid Al-Bukhari.
During the meeting, Mikati stressed the importance of the bilateral relations between Lebanon and the Kingdom, noting that al-Aloula’s visit seeks to boost cooperation in various fields.
He also emphasized that King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman are keen on supporting Lebanon, adding that Saudi Arabia will never ignore the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
Before leaving, al-Aloula simply said: “next time I will visit Tripoli and I will speak from there.”
