Candidate for the Orthodox seat in Zahle district Assaad Nakad stressed that Bekaa is a disadvantaged region and has no political support, stressing that he will not pay money but will help through offering services.
He noted that the citizen must vote for a deputy to hold him accountable; otherwise there will be no change.
Speaking to LBCI, Nakad said that the alliance between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Future Movement is essential for both parties, pointing out that he has good relations with Hezbollah.
“We do not want to lie to the people but we want to spread the culture of change and we are ready to start it,” he added.
Commenting on the issue of the Syrian displacement, he stated that the presence of the Syrian refugees is affecting Lebanon’s economy and security, stressing that this situation must be resolved.
On another note, Nakad said that the electoral quotient is necessary, adding that the members of one list must work together to reach this quotient.
