Personal dispute injures three in Beirut's Southern Suburbs

A personal dispute erupted on Thursday in al-Masry Street, Haret Hreik and soon turned into an exchange of gunfire, injuring a 5-year-old child as well as another man and woman.

LBCI reported that Issa Karki was shot as he was riding his motorcycle, adding that the source of gunfire was from a vehicle carrying Hussein Ghossein and Fawzi Shahrour.

The clash intensified to a level at which the LAF intervened and deployed in the area.

LBCI also learned that Ghossein and Shahrour have a history of law-breaking behavior - attacking an army soldier in Haret Hreik on Wednesday night and then fleeing the scene.
