Minister Abi Khalil: First phase of oil exploration starts today
Caretaker Minister of Energy announced on Tuesday that he agreed on two plans for oil exploration in Bloc No. 4 and No. 9.
“Today, the first phase of the exploration will start and will extend for 3 years,” Abi Khalil said during a press conference.
He also noted that the schedule leading to the drilling of the first well in 2019 requires the completion of all steps without any delay from other ministries.
