President Michel Aoun followed up on the situation caused by the floods that invaded the region of Ras Baalbek and caused grave damages in the town, also killing one woman.
Aoun contacted the Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee Maj. Gen. Mohammad Khair, who briefed him on the measures implemented in the region to clean the sewers and survey the damages, in order to compensate the affected people and provide those who evacuated their homes with a shelter.
The president was also briefed by the president of the Lebanese Red Cross Antoine Zoghbi on the work of the teams in said region.
