Arab Tawhid Party chief, former Minister Wiam Wahhab explained that he sheds light on shady issues, so that the concerned judiciary takes action, noting that the judiciary must take action regarding several issues, while the president must take a decision concerning the other matters.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said talk show, Wahhab stressed that there is fraud in the waste issue.
On the naturalization decree, the former minister stated that the naturalization decree cannot be cancelled and it is a right for the president, but the interior minister must have reviewed and inspected the individuals included in it.
“A number of persons paid large sums of money to acquire the nationality,” he revealed, pointing out that he cannot reveal the names.
On another note, he revealed that compensations of nearly $ 2 million have been paid to the family of the officer accused of attempting to assassinate former President Elias al-Hrawi, but failed and died in the bomb explosion.
