REPORT: Jumblatt from Baabda: Aoun is keen on unity of Mount Lebanon and entire country

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt said on Wednesday that President Michel Aoun is keen on preserving the unity of Mount Lebanon and the unity of the entire country.

Jumblatt’s comments were made after meeting with Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he noted that discussions focused on general issues, adding that the Cabinet formation was not tackled.

He also noted that he did not tackle with Aoun any possible meeting with caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.

Jumblatt concluded by asking supporters to exercise restraint.
