For the first time in Lebanon, the Ministry of Health launched Sunday the "National Day Against Childhood Obesity", in a bit to fight against obesity in childhood that has increased due to lack of physical activity and awareness about appropriate dietary system.
The event took place at the Ministry in the presence of Caretaker Minister of Health Ghassan Hasbani, students from different schools and representatives of associations. The minister called on the students to "preserve their health", noting that obesity is one of the issues that affect human health.
