Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri issued Wednesday a memorandum announcing the closure of public administrations and state’s institutions for the occasion of the Prophet's birthday (Eid Mawlid al-Nabawi) on Tuesday November 20, 2017.
The memo stipulated that according to the decree number 15215 issued on 27/9/2005 and its amendments, which specifies official holidays, the public administration, institutions and municipalities shall close on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal 1439 H [Tuesday 20/11/2018] to mark the Prophet's birthday.
