Sami Gemayel: So long as there are extra state arms, Lebanon will not know peace

The Kataeb’s Central Committee Coordinator MP Sami Gemayel said that the Lebanese will not know peace so long as there are unlawfully possessed weapons that reign above the law. “Whether carried by Lebanese or Palestinians or people of any other nationality,” Gemayel stressed that as long as weapons exist with parties obeying regional axes, the Lebanese people will not know "stability and serenity".

During the annual dinner of the Social Democratic lawyers the Kataeb Party held in Kleyaat Sunday evening, Gemayel said that some councils are spending funds without cabinet's approval and without the supervision of the Audit Bureau, adding “this state is the state of corruption and waste”.
