French court sentences Lebanese businessman to 7 years in prison

A French court sentenced a Lebanese businessman to seven years in prison for money laundering.

The man identified only by his initials as M. N. A. (44 years old) was convicted of laundering drug money and belonging to a gang.

He was also fined 500,000 euros.

Other sentences ranging from two years to nine years in prison were also issued by the court on 12 other suspects in the case.
