While the excavation works continued for the third day, within the framework of what Israel called “Northern Shield” operation, PM Benjamin Netanyahu moved to launch an international political and media campaign to not only punish Hezbollah, but to isolate Lebanon as a state and attack its political and military leadership.
In this regard, Netanyahu summoned tens of foreign ambassadors to Kfarkela tunnel to closely inform them of the findings, calling on them from there to condemn the violation of Israel’s sovereignty.
