Berri: Parliament could convene after January 6 if new government is formed
Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that the Parliament could convene after January 6 in case the Cabinet was formed before the holidays.

“I hope the ministerial statement would be brief," he added.
For his part, MP Ali Bazzi quoted Berri as saying from Ain el-Tineh that “the recent positive signals regarding the Cabinet formation are considered as “a last minute rescue mission.”
