Bassil from Bkerke: We do not link Cabinet formation with any other entitlement

Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil said on Friday that he submitted 5 new ideas related to the Cabinet formation, adding that contacts are kept under wraps in this regard.

"The government of national unity is carried out by all parties involved, and we are not in a political race to link this entitlement with any other," he noted.

Bassil’s comments from Bkerke after meeting with Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai whereby he said that the Lebanese leaders must deploy efforts to form a Cabinet as the country is participate in an Arab economic summit.
