President Michel Aoun received at the Presidential Palace in Baabda, Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak, heading a delegation, with talks touching on means of enhancing relations and activating joint cooperation between the two countries.
Aoun praised the bilateral relations, calling for boosting these ties at all levels, “mainly the touristic sector, since around 7000 Lebanese citizens go on pilgrimage visits to the city Medjugorje.”
The president also thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina for their constant support for Lebanon at all international conferences, looking forward to Bosnia’s support to the “Human Academy for Encounter and Dialogue.”
In turn, Crnadak said that President Aoun’s initiative is a great contribution to building peace.
He also stressed the importance of his visit to Lebanon, noting that “Lebanon is a rare country.”
