“Where are you going?” campaign to express Lebanese people's pain

A campaign under the title “where are we going?’ (Lawen rayhin?) was launched in an attempt to face the traffic jam which has been an integral part of the Lebanese people’s daily life.

The campaign considered that the solution of the traffic crisis is not by widening and paving the roads, but by raising awareness to the public opinion about the importance of public transportation. The organizers of the campaign launched a page on Facebook speaking of the days when a train and rail roads existed in Lebanon.

Trains and buses are buried in Cornishe al-Naher, while the Lebanese people see the roads as their grave. In this context, the question would be, when the officials will bring back the projects of public transportation to the table.
