Minister Chehayeb concludes participation in Brussels 3 Conference

Minister of Education Akram Chehayeb concluded on Friday the program of his participation in the Brussels 3 Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region within a delegation headed by Prime Minister Saad Hariri with a speech delivered at the last session before the persons in charge of education.

During his speech, Chehayeb stressed on the cost of education, adding that supporting parties must provide funding for at least three years.

He also noted that the education of the displaced children “remains a humanitarian principle” that is recognized by all International conventions and is linked to the right of everyone to learn.”
