Mount Lebanon Public Prosecutor Ghada Aoun charged Wednesday Customs Supreme Council member Gracia al-Azzi with accepting bribes and laundering money.
The judge also issued a decision banning al-Azzi from traveling outside the country until the investigations are over, and asked the Finance Ministry to suspend her from duty.
Judge Aoun referred the defendant to the first interrogation for the trial.
