Bassil: Real fear is resettlement and displacement of natives
Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil toured on Saturday Beirut's first and second electoral districts.

During the tour, Bassil asserted that "Beirut is not required to think about simple issues, such as roads and tunnels, but of issues that are more important, such as train or metro stations we see in Europe.”

He also noted that unity enhances collective and balanced development that can be achieved through administrative decentralization.

As for the refugees crisis, Bassil noted that “the real fear relies in the resettlement and displacement of natives, where refugees would be settled while natives leave their areas and lose their jobs."
