Greek President to NNA: I hail Lebanon and Lebanese people for their humanity towards refugees
Greek President Prokópis Pavlópoulos asserted on Wednesday that Greece is always ready to defend the right of Lebanon and the Lebanese people in living in their country with its territorial integrity and national sovereignty guaranteed.
Pavlópoulos’s comments were made during a phone call with the state-run Lebanese National News Agency whereby he said that the Europeans owe the Lebanese.
“I have seized this visit to hail Lebanon and the Lebanese people, for their humanity towards the refugees of war in the Middle East region," he added.
"The west in general and the European Union in particular, failed to fulfill their duties towards humans and the human rights during the war in the Middle East region," he added.
