“Strong Lebanon” parliamentary bloc stressed that reform is important and is not addressed against anyone, especially not the citizens.
“We will remain keen on preserving the rights and on reducing waste before anything else,” he added.
Following the bloc’ weekly meeting, MP Ibrahim Kanaan declared that the bloc welcomes international projects proposed in Lebanon, mainly from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, noting that the Lebanese workers are the priority and the project of youth rehabilitation is exclusive to the Lebanese youth.
“We hold on to the unified Lebanese vision regarding the Syrian refugees, which is based on the safe return,” he said, stressing the wavering Lebanon’s sovereignty is off the table.
On the electricity plan, Kanaan emphasized the bloc’s support to the implementation of the plan with transparency and without discretion.
