The first offshore well for oil and gas exploration will be drilled in the sea off the coastal town of Safra in the district of Kesserwan, north of Beirut, located in the bloc 4.
Energy Minister Nada al-Boustany and the Lebanese Petroleum Administration were briefed by Total Company on the details and techniques related to the process, which is expected to kick off before the end of the year.
