Cabinet refers electoral law to Constitutional Court
The Kuwaiti government decided on Thursday to refer electoral law to Kuwait's constitutional court, Information Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah said in a statement during a press conference.

“The government this feels it necessary to take the initiative and raise the matter to the Constitutional Court to spare the nation and its institutions any legal chaos or political tensions resulting from an error that could lead to legislative void”, the statement read.
