MP Bazzi from Ain el-Tineh: Berri’s role is to preserve civil peace
MP Ali Bazzi asserted on Wednesday that everyone knows the role played by Speaker Nabih Berri in consolidating stability and maintaining civil peace.
Bazzi’s comments were made after Berri’s weekly meeting with MPs in Ain el-Tineh whereby he noted that what happened in Aley must be dealt with on the security, judiciary and political levels.
On another note, Bazzi quoted Berri as saying that the “referring the state’s Budget to the Parliament does not mean approving it without discussion.”
