171 Stranded Lebanese tourists start returning home from Turkey

171 Lebanese tourists who were stuck in Turkey after being duped by New Plaza Tours tourism agency arrived back to Beirut on Saturday.

An agreement between the Higher Relief Committee and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation facilitated their return.

Half the price of the plane tickets was paid by the Higher Relief Committee and half by small travel agencies that the passengers had used as a middleman to make bookings through New Plaza Tours.
