Hariri’s Special Envoy meets Russian Deputy Minister of Defense

Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Alexander Fomin met on Friday with Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s Special Envoy Georges Chaaban.

Talks reportedly featured high over the current situation in the Middle East region, including the refugee crisis and their return to their permanent residences in Syria.

Discussions also touched the bilateral technical and military cooperation.

This as both sides stressed the continuation of cooperation and coordination, according to the statement issued by the Russian Defense Ministry.
