Chouccair to LBCI: We will not take anything from Lebanese citizen without giving a service in return

Minister of Telecommunications Mohamad Chouccair said on Thursday to LBCI that the tax on the WhatsApp application and other applications is still just an idea that the Cabinet approved on.

Chouccair’s comments were made during a phone call with LBCI whereby he noted that the implementation of such an idea technically needs several months.

“We will not take anything from the Lebanese citizen without giving a service in return” he added.
