Health Minister Jabaq: There is a shortage in drugs and medicine in Lebanese markets
Minister of Health Jamil Jabaq said on Tuesday that there is a shortage in drugs and medicine in Lebanon’s markets because they are not cleared in Lebanese Customs.

“And if cleared, they are not delivered to hospitals and pharmacies,” Jabaq said during a press conference.

He also noted that vehicles that transport medicine are being attacked, stressing that hospitals are now in shortage of diesel oil and oxygen.

On another note, the minister said that doctors are unable to reach their hospitals.

“If this continues, it will lead to a social and medical disaster in Lebanon,” Jabaq concluded by saying.
