Head of the Higher Judicial Council Judge Souheil Abboud stressed his commitment to making sure the new judicial formations adopts the highest standard of objectivity, as well as morality, competence and productivity, while remaining away from any form of intervention.
During the swearing ceremony of 32 judges in the Court of Cassation at the Justice Palace, Abboud noted that “a judge’s freedom in making decisions must be protected away from interventions and pressures, even if from the people.”
