GLC calls for economic dialogue leading Lebanon out of crisis

The executive council of the General Labor Confederation condemned during its meeting on Wednesday the explosion which targeted Achrafieh on Friday October 19.            

Following the meeting, the council noted that the political security and the socio- economic security cannot be separated, which exerts pressure on social stability and civil peace.

The attendees of the meeting reiterated their rejection of any increase that may be imposed on fees and indirect taxes, calling for an economic dialogue which can lead the country out of the crisis.
