Patriarch Rai: we must fold the pages of hatred and war

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros Rai's brother passed away on Saturday morning.        

Separately, Patriarch Rai visited the explosion site in Achrafieh.                         

“Lebanese citizens must fold the pages of hatred and war and build peace instead so the blood of victims does not go in vain.”                            

“The place where a martyr’s blood falls is sacred,” Rai concluded.              

The Patriarch will also be visiting Church of the Redeemer in Achrafieh on the occasion of the 125th Jubilee of the church.            

Rai will presiding a solemn mass and will later hold a Christian initiation session.
