Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan reach deal to transfer electricity to Lebanon
Ministers of energy from Lebanon, Syria and Jordan announced in a joint press conference on Thursday that they have reached a final agreement to transfer electricity to Lebanon currently suffering an acute energy crisis.
 
Lebanese Energy Minister Walid Fayad said that the World Bank attended the joint meeting and would finance the deal, pointing out that “the Americans have given the green light to the project.”
