Jumblatt: The Syrian people left to its own fate

The leader of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt said on Thursday that the continuous events taking place in Syria prove that the Syrian people have been left to their own fate and are being used for conflicting interests, whether by the Syrian regime persisting on its criminal acts, or by the international community's abandoning efforts.              

Jumblatt praised, in a statement those in Jarmana, Soueidaa and other regions, who have so far refused to get dragged into the “Syrian regime's trap to create strife, urging the Druze population in Syria to join in the revolt.
