Daher to LBCI: Lebanese nationals went to Syria as a response to Hezbollah's intervention

Deputy Khaled Daher said on Tuesday that some young men went to Syria to support the Free Army as a response to Hezbollah's intervention in the crisis.
Daher added that 6 Lebanese nationals died in Syria and demanded from the Lebanese not to go to Syria because "heroes from the Free Syrian Army are defending their country."

Speaking to LBCI during Nharkom Said, Daher called for the deployment of the Lebanese Army along the borders to prevent the smuggling of weapons from and into Syria and added that the Lebanese government is involved in the crisis seemingly since it did not intensify the deployment of army  patrols since the onset of the crisis.

Daher added that Lebanese citizens, among them March14 forces, are helping the displaced Syrians in Lebanon, but the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali and the Syrian regime are not committing to any agreement in this regard.

"The main problem in Syria is related to the missing persons; thousands of Syrians are missing and no one knows their whereabouts," Daher said.
