REPORT: The world wrapped with Christmas spirit

The Christmas spirit prevailed across the four corners of the world.

In this context, near the White House, the US President Barak Obama lighted with his family, the 90th National Christmas Tree in a traditional ceremony which has been held since 1923.

In Rome, the downtown sparkled with a tree decorated by 130 thousand lights during a charity ceremony, with proceeds going to benefit Haiti children affected by the earthquake which hit their land three years ago.

On the other hand, the tree of Trafalgar Square, offered to London by Norway during the World War II, was lighted for the 65th year.

In Concorde Square in Paris was filled with bell sounds and Christmas songs.
