REPORT: LBCI's Staff Administration responds to PAC dismissed employees

   
The Staff Administration at LBCI issued on Friday the following statement:               

Shortly after Prince Walid Bin Talal's decision to liquidate PAC and dismiss its employees, a number of PAC employees, upon their movements to gain their entitlements, addressed LBCI and its CEO Sheikh Pierre Daher in their statements and media leaks.                            

Due to their persistence in using this method, the Staff Administration at LBCI considered it necessary to issue the following clarifications:              

1- It is worth noting that demonstrators are dismissed from PAC and not from LBCI, and mentioning LBCI in this case is deceptive.               

2- LBCI hired most of those laid off employees and helped in the recruitment of another group.                         

3- LBCI offered on some of the dismissed employees, who did not find jobs, work in their field in other companies, whether in Lebanon or abroad, by they rejected all these offers.            

4- Everyone, specifically those laid off from PAC, knows that LBCI since its establishment stands alongside with the oppressed and developed an aid fund for those dismissed. This fund helps all those dismissed from their jobs and those protesting were the first to benefit of this fund.                    


5- LBCI is keeping all the data related to those who benefited of the humanitarian aid fund, and might find itself obliged to reveal their names as well as other facts if this deceptive campaign continues.  

6- The Staff Administration declares that what PAC dismissed employees are doing has become an extortion that LBCI will not be subject to under any circumstances, and a defamation that will be dealt with in a judicial manner.
LBCI will follow up this issue to put an end to those trying to harm Sheikh Pierre Daher and the company's reputation and it has information on exploitation and extortion attempts. LBCI is entitled to hold others accountable but others are not entitled to hold it accountable.
