Hajj Hassan expresses surprise towards March 14’s insistence on 60s law

The Agriculture Minister Hussein al-Hajj Hassan said on Sunday that the discussions conducted during the meetings of the parliamentary elections are still at the beginning since consensus has not yet been reached.

Al-Hajj Hassan noted that it is clear that March 8 forces are in harmony, while March 14 parties “say one thing and think another.”

The minister expressed surprise towards the fact that the opposition is insisting on keeping the 60s electoral law.
