Israel voices surprise at Argentina-Iran agreement

The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced Monday that it was surprised by the agreement concluded between Argentina and Iran to establish a "truth commission" in a bid to resolve the 1994 bombing of a Buenos Aires Jewish community center that Argentine courts accuse the Iran of sponsoring.           

The spokesperson for the Ministry told AFP: “The news surprised us and we are waiting to receive further details from Argentina since it is clear that this issue is directly related to Israel.”
