Bsatin al-Ossi’s residents protest against water treatment plant project

The residents of the town of Bsatin al-Ossi in the district of Batroun staged on Sunday a movement near the town’s church to protest against the location set for a project aiming at building a water treatment plant, near the waterfalls of Kfarhelda, a neighboring town.

The protesters gathered on the town’s main road, and raised banners calling for protecting the town and the touristic waterfalls from the plant which is planned to be established.
