Fatfat to LBCI: There is an attempt to foil the “hybrid project”

Member of the Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat stressed on Friday that they have not yet received any comments from the Free Patriotic Movement regarding the hybrid electoral draft law, noting that the other party is trying to foil the project.

Fatfat told LBCI that he received remarks from Hezbollah, while they are still awaiting the remarks of the FPM.

Commenting on their refusal of the proposal presented by Speaker Berri, Fatfat said that they refused it because it lacks balance and ensures an absolute victory for March 8 camp.

In this context, Fatfat pointed out that the hybrid draft law received the approval of the majority and it should be voted on during the General Authority session.
