Hariri: The current situation is an impact of the Syrian crisis

MP Saad Hariri warned on Thursday against the plot fabricated to destroy the city of Tripoli by those who plan to create strife and strike the national and Arab identity of Tripoli, in order to weaken its role in the political scene.

Hariri issued a statement whereby he said that the current situation is an impact of the Syrian crisis and aims at serving as a cover for the involvement of Hezbollah in Syria’s al-Qusayr.

In this context, Hariri urged the residents of Tripoli to avoid falling in the trap prepared by those who want to destroy the region, stressing that the Future Movement’s project aims at building and developing a nation.

The former PM called on the residents of Tripoli to aid the security forces and the LAF in carrying out their required missions.
