Clashes resume in Tripoli, Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tebbaneh exchange accusations

Tension returned to the conflict areas of Tripoli, as the clashed renewed on Sunday evening in Jabal Mohsen where machine guns were used, leaving twelve people injured.

Accordingly, residents cut off the international road linking Tripoli to Akkar, as well as other roads in Tripoli.

In this context, sources from the Arab Democratic Party told LBCI that gunmen from Bab al-Tebbaneh unexpectedly opened fire at Jabal Mosen.               

On the other hand, leaders in Bab al-Tebbaneh accused Jabal Mohsen’s gunmen of initiating the clashes.
