The head of Rafic Hariri University Hospital Firas Abiad tweeted on Sunday a video showing him receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.
“Actions are more important than words, let us take the vaccine to protect ourselves and our society,” Abiad said in his tweet.
Earlier in the day, Lebanon started its COVID-19 vaccination drive by inoculating the head of critical care at the same hospital, followed by 93-year-old celebrated Lebanese actor and comedian Salah Tizani.
