ISF issues statement on inmates tested Coronavirus positive

The Internal Security Forces issued on Monday a statement in which it said that 473 inmates were tested positive for Coronavirus inside the Roumieh prison until present, adding that the number of recoveries reached 381 with only one case still in the hospital receiving medical treatment.

The statement added that 40 cases were recorded among inmates in the police station’s prison of Beirut Justice Palace and 19 positive cases in Batroun prison.

As for the Zahle prison, 5 cases were registered in the past days with mild symptoms, noting that all 237 prisoners who tested positive fully recovered.

The ISF also noted that it is facilitating the contact between the inmates tested positive and their families to follow up on their health conditions.
