Rifi to resort to ICC in ex-Minister Samaha’s case
Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi announced Saturday that he will resort to the International Criminal Court to address the case of former Minister Michel Samaha, adding that he will demand Canada’s authorities to prosecute him seeing as he holds the Canadian nationality.

In a press conference, Rifi slammed the distorted justice, adding that he rejects the selectivity that the Military Court has shown in the case of Samaha.

“What Samaha did is known as war crimes and crimes against humanity,” he said, noting that the ex-minster’s crime is no less dangerous than the ones that have been committed since 2004.
