Citizens gathered Thursday outside the Citadel of Independence in Rashaya, to protest against the traditional visit of the representative of the three presidents to the castle to mark Lebanon's Independence Day, the National News Agency reported.
The Lebanese army deployed in the vicinity of the castle.
