A silent rally was organized on Saturday from Bliss Street in Hamra towards Martyrs’ Square in central Beirut to express solidarity with survivors of sexual harassment.
In this context, journalist Joumana Haddad explained that the rally aims at raising the voice against harassment and bullying targeting women.
She noted that the silent aspect of the movement is the stress that “women will no longer keep silent but on the contrary will demand their rights.”
