The constant denial by Ziad Itani of all the accusations launched against him concerning the collaboration with Israel before First Military Investigative Judge Riad Abou Ghaida, led the latter two weeks ago to issue a memo to the ISF Information branch to clarify and study technical matters related to the file.
The Information branch started investigations and the first result reached was that the IP address used in communicating with Ziad Itani via the internet was fabricated, managing also to identify the suspect involved in its fabrication, who was brought in.
Sources said that the suspect admitted to important and serious information, confirming the evidence made available to the Information Branch.
