[VIDEO] This Is What Will Happen If You Shout 'I Have Ebola' On A Plane!
A man who shouted "I have Ebola! You are all screwed!" on a flight was confronted by men wearing oxygen masks and hazardous waste suits when the airplane landed.

The U.S citizen, who had sneezed and coughed his way through a four-hour flight between Philadelphia and the Dominican Republic, frightened 200 passengers as he claimed to have the fatal disease.

Four officers kitted out in quarantine outfits boarded the plane at Punta Cana Airport and a stewardess was heard telling people aboard the flight: "I need your attention – this is going to look worse than it is."

Shortly afterwards, the men in overalls boarded the Boeing 777 as passengers sitting close to the man covered their faces. The unnamed 54-year-old passenger who was escorted from the aircraft and who sparked the panic did not have Ebola, officials reported.

"The passenger is believed to have the flu," said Walter Zemialkowski, director of terminals and maintenance at the airport.

For her part, Paola Rainieri, a communications executive at Grupo Punta Cana which owns the airport, dubbed the comment "a joke of poor taste”.

“We don’t know why he did it, but he thought it would be a cute joke that would not be so serious. Thankfully it was only a scare," she added.

The U.S. is taking the threat of the deadly Ebola virus seriously after the death of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first man to be diagnosed with Ebola outside of West Africa, in Dallas, Texas.
